With 18 years of experience in the industry, Jacques joined the Oberer Management Services team in May of 2011 as the Maintenance Supervisor of Yorktown Colony Apartments, a 530-unit community in Riverside, Ohio.  After demonstrating his leadership skills at Yorktown Colony, Jacques was promoted the position of Director of Maintenance for the Oberer Management team in March, 2020. 

In his current position, he is responsible for the bidding and completion of large capital improvements, coordinating maintenance training, evaluating employee performance and needs, and helps set our maintenance policies and protocols with the management team.  Jacques has been the chair of the Maintenance Educational Council for the Greater Dayton Apartment Association since 2017, and also serves on the GDAA Board of Directors.   and has helped bring valuable training opportunities to the members of the association.  Jacques has been working in the multi-family industry since 2002 and is a 1996 graduate of the University of Chicago.
